The adventurous first leg is to familiarise the riders with their motorbikes and the Indian roads and routes. The mountain roads are in good condition, which makes the way smooth. Once the riding journey begins, you will witness yourself navigating the roads surrounded by natural greenery on one side in the valleys situated beneath the snow-covered glaciers of the Dhauladhar range.

The twisty roads and adventures are set to welcome you on your way to the mighty Sach Pass (4,420 m). This is not an ordinary Himalayan pass as it is undoubtedly the most challenging way with stony roads. Sach Pass may not be the highest, but it is a lifetime experience. Unlike the route from Manali, which has easy roads and traffic, this route gives you the real rider feels. As you reach the destination for the night, the day gets justified with the beautiful location for the stay.

Experience a great morning in the Pangi valley. This route stretches along the Chenab River leading us to Lahaul, the gateway to Ladakh. Encounter Buddhism and Hinduism merged perfectly as one. For the initial time, we will ride slowly as eternity has passed. We end this leg here with a smooth road, which I tarmacked for the riders.

Welcome to Ladakh – a landscape to witness the true beauty of a desert with scenic views around the place. The road directs up the heights of the Lachulung La Pass (5,060m). This will be your first pass crossing 5000m altitude and then goes down into Pang gorges. From here, we pace up the speed on higher plains and arrive at Tso Kar Salt Lake, situated at 4,600 m altitude.

After breakfast, will proceed towards Tsomoriri Lake the Ladakh highest lake. On the way will stop at Sumdo village a small village for Tibetan refugee. On arrival at Tsomoriri will visit the village and then walk around the lake.

Today we will drive to Leh through Chumathang road, most of the time will follow the Indus River because the road is just on the side of the Indus River. Will stop at Chumathng for lunch and from there will proceed direct to leh.

This day you climb up the roads of Khardung La, the highest motorable road, which is 5,370 m globally. Encounter an alluring panorama from the Zanskar chain on the southern side, followed by the mystic Karakoram chain on the northern side. Will stop for lunch at Khardong village in a local restaurant and have a small walk in a village. After lunch will start our journey towards Nubra valley.

The excursion concludes with a tranquil drive into the forest with a view of Stok Kangri, along with the magnificent Himalayan range over the Warila Pass (5,312 meters). Sakti's Takthok monastery, the only monastery in Ladakh dedicated to the Nyingma pa or Red-hat sect, can be visited. This 4-5 hour trip from Nubra to Leh across the Warila Pass complements a beautiful Ladakh journey that you may take.
